”Cud nad Wisłą” ocalił nie tylko Warszawę i odradzającą się niepodległą Rzeczpospolitą, ale również całą Europę. Bitwa Warszawska zadecydowała o dalszych losach całego świata. 90 lat temu polscy żołnierze swym życiem i daniną krwi zaświadczyli o umiłowaniu Ojczyzny. Wracając myślą do dramatycznych wydarzeń 1920 roku z dumą wspominamy bohaterów tamtych wojennych wydarzeń i przywołujemy pamięć o tych, którzy honorowo zdali egzamin z żołnierskiego patriotyzmu.

W dniu 13 sierpnia 2010r. w naszej jednostce odbyła się uroczystość z okazji Święta Wojska Polskiego i 90. rocznicy Bitwy Warszawskiej. Uroczystość rozpoczęła się złożeniem meldunku przez mjr Jacka BĄKA Dowódcy Bazy płk dypl. pil. Robertowi CIERNIAKOWI.

On 28 of May 2010, soldiers in steel-blue uniforms from 23 rd AFB, 1 st Tsq and Representative Orchestra and Company of the Air Forces appeared near monument devoted to pilots from 1st Fighter Regiment “Warszawa”. In that way, solemn celebration of 23rd AB and 1 TSq holiday along with 589th anniversary of civil rights granted to Our city were initiated. Celebration started from mass celebrated by Roman Catholic priests. |
